Woman arrested after several businesses burglarized in Capitol Hill

A woman was arrested by Seattle police Thursday night after several businesses were broken into in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.

Just before midnight, officers responded to an alarm in the 2900 block of East Madison where they found several businesses with damage from forced entry.

According to surveillance footage provided by business owners, detectives saw a woman forcing herself into buildings.

Officers soon found the 23-year-old woman and took her into custody.

She was booked into the King County Jail on charges of burglary, malicious mischief, and possession of stolen property.
