A woman was killed after a collision with a Washington State Department of Transportation work trailer on Friday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
At around 8:45 a.m. on April 15, a woman driver drifted onto the shoulder on westbound Interstate 90 near Issaquah and struck a WSDOT work trailer.
The woman was killed in the incident.
A golden retriever survived, and was taken to an Issaquah animal hospital for treatment, according to Eastside Fire and Rescue.
Although WSDOT workers were outside their vehicles doing work on the shoulder, there were no other reported injuries.
Investigators cleared the scene and opened all lanes of traffic around 12:20 p.m.
