SEATTLE — A woman was stabbed in her forehead and lower back when she was attacked in a recreational area of her Seattle apartment building on Friday, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Around 10:56 p.m. on Feb. 4, Seattle police officers responded to an assault call where a woman reported she had been stabbed in the face.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, who had been stabbed in the forehead and lower back.
Seattle Fire medics responded to the scene and transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center.
The woman told officers she was attacked by another resident of the apartment building in the common area recreational room.
As officers conducted a search of the area, the suspect walked in the front lobby, where officers placed him under arrest.
The woman is currently in critical condition at Harborview.
