Woman thrown from car, killed in crash near Hobart

HOBART, Wash. — Highway 18 has reopened after a fatal crash near Hobart that closed it for hours.

It happened in the westbound lanes just east of Issaquah-Hobart Road.

Eastside Fire was called to the scene of the two-vehicle crash at 11:13 p.m. Sunday.

A woman was thrown from her car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

SR 18 was closed until around 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
