SEATTLE, Wash. — Woodland Park Zoo says it is back open Wednesday following last night’s bomb cyclone that hit the Pacific Northwest.
Ahead of the storm, the zoo canceled its WildLanterns event as a precaution, but staff tells KIRO 7 it will be resuming tonight.
People can enjoy illuminated displays of mystical tree fairies and fantastical unicorns as well as Northwest animals vividly portrayed in lantern form.
