SEATTLE — A Washington State Department of Transportation worker was injured Tuesday morning while clearing debris along I-5 following a four-car crash.
State troopers said the Incident Response Truck driver was hit in the leg along northbound I-5 near the West Seattle Freeway around 8 a.m.
Troopers said they think the worker was hit by a car hauler trailer being pulled by a white truck and said the vehicle did not stop.
Troopers said the used a drone to help survey the scene.
Traffic was cleared around 8:30 a.m. and troopers did not provide an update on the worker’s condition.
