FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Two people were arrested after a five-vehicle crash on I-5 in Federal Way that left three people hurt Thursday morning, troopers said.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-5 north of South 317th.

Before 1 p.m., all lanes reopened after the crash had blocked two left lanes.
Two people had minor injuries and another person had serious injuries.
Trooper Rick Johnson said the causing vehicle was reported driving up the left shoulder at a high rate of speed. The two occupants in the car fled the scene after the crash but they were taken into custody.
Troopers said there were reports of a possible carjacking but they’re still investigating.
