KENT, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol unveiled the latest Homeward Bound truck last month which features a photo and information a missing child on its sides.
Asia Wilbon was last seen by her father in Kent on Feb. 12, 2020, right before he went to bed, according to the Auburn Examiner.
According to Wilbon, his wife heard Asia moving around the house at 1 or 2 a.m. and thought she was using the bathroom.
When her parents got home from work the next day on Feb. 13, their daughter was gone, the Examiner said.
The Kent Police Department received multiple tips, but the teen remains missing.
The Homeward Bound program is administered by the Washington State Patrol’s Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit.
Kam-Way Transportation is in the process of putting Asia Wilbon’s information and photo on the sides of two other semi-trucks, which will travel all over the country and into Canada and Mexico.
“If someone has a tip, if someone has anything that they’ve seen, even if it’s over a year old, please give us a call,” said Commander Rob Hollis with the Kent Police Department.
Anybody with information that can lead to the recovery of Asia Wilbon or any other missing person is asked to call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Kent Police Department at 253-852-2121.
