PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University is asking returning students to monitor weather forecasts and road conditions and allow plenty of travel time as they head back to campus for the start of classes Monday.

University officials have been monitoring weather conditions this week and are urging students to be prepared for the difficult driving conditions.

“If it is unsafe to travel, students should stay put and contact their instructors to make alternative arrangements,” said school officials.
Spring semester starts Monday.
In 2017, two WSU students were killed in separate crashes and four were injured as they made their way back to campus.
