EVERETT, Wash. — A 13-year-old student was stabbed outside of North Middle School in Everett this morning. According to Everett’s Chief of Police, the boy was on his way to school when he was stabbed.
According to the Everett Fire Department and the Everett Police Department, the boy was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
He was stabbed around 7:50 a.m. near the school.
Everett PD confirmed that the suspect was still on the loose, and asked for the community to be on the lookout for the pictured individual below, who has been identified as a person of interest in the stabbing and was last seen in the area around 8 a.m.
Police describe him as a black male, approximately 5′10′', last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and yellow beanie.
Anyone who sees him or any additional information about his whereabouts or this incident is asked to call 911 immediately.
Everett Police is investigating the incident and will provide more information as it becomes available.
