Man with dementia missing from Mill Creek found safe

MILL CREEK, Wash. — Update, 10:04 a.m:  The man was found safe by a Snohomish County deputy.

Snohomish County search and rescue and Mill Creek police are looking for a missing man with dementia.

Jack Paulin Brastad, 78, was last seen in the area of the 15100 block 14th Drive Southeast in Mill Creek.  His last contact with his family was at 6 a.m. Friday.

Brastad has dementia and may have trouble seeing since he does not have his glasses on.

Brastad is white, 78 years old and was wearing a Seahawks jacket, sweatshirt, jeans, socks and no shoes.

Anyone who has seen Brastad is asked to call 911 immediately.
