KENT, Wash. — A man accused of groping two girls at Federal Way's Wild Waves water park last month pleaded not guilty to child molestation charges Monday.

Md Islam, 37, was arrested on Saturday, July 18 by off-duty Federal Way police officers after investigators received two written statements from the girls.  He was released on the following Monday. Prosecutors at the time said they were working to finalize child molestation charges.

Islam was arrested two days later when he came to the Kent Regional Justice Center, where he remains jailed on $100,000 bail.

Prosecutors in court documents said he groped the breasts of an 11-year-old and a 15-year-old girl as they swam in the wave pool at Wild Waves.

Islam is charged with two counts of child molestation.

His defense attorney says the King County prosecutor is attempting to get surveillance video from Wild Waves.
