Man's body found near 405 in Snohomish County

Sheriff's deputies are investigating a man's body found Thursday morning in Snohomish County.

The body was found near the intersection of Damson Road and South Danvers Road, just south of Interstate 405. Someone going by found the body and called police.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s detectives said the deceased was a white man, but his age and identity was not immediately known. Investigators said it was suspicious because of where the body was found on a side street near 405, and also because there was some trauma.

Deputies did not elaborate on the trauma.

Additional details were not immediately available, but KIRO 7 reporter Joanna Small is at the scene and will have the latest from police on KIRO 7 Eyewitness News from 5-6:30 p.m.
