Masked man strikes Ballard bank in takeover robbery

SEATTLE — Police are looking for a masked man who robbed a Ballard bank Tuesday afternoon in takeover-style heist.

Shortly before 3 p.m., a man walking into the US Bank at Northwest 61st Street and 15th Avenue Northwest and ordered everyone inside to get down on the ground.

The robber implied he had a gun, demanded cash and then fled in a two-door black Porsche 944 Turbo hatchback.

The robber is described as a white or Asian male, about 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build.   He was wearing a black jacket, jeans, a face covering and sunglasses.
