SEATTLE — Seattle Mayor Ed Murray wants end the city's cable franchise districts.
The move would increase competition among Seattle's cable TV providers.
Currently, the districts give residents only one option for cable service -- Comcast or Wave Broadband.
The Seattle Times reports the mayor's proposed Cable code amendment would give consumers more options, better service and lower prices.
