SEATTLE — Detectives are investigating after a car crashed into a home in Seattle's University District Monday evening.
Crews responded to the scene where a vehicle drove into a house at NE 53rd St. and 9th Ave NE after 5 p.m.
Seattle Fire said the vehicle hit a natural gas line.
Firefighters pulled the driver out of the vehicle and transported the driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said the car was stolen from a nearby dealership.
There were no other injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
