Middle school in Issaquah delayed after threat

ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Pacific Cascade Middle School was delayed by two hours on Tuesday, Nov. 4, due to safety concerns.

Police investigated a threat that was made in an email to a staff member. After an investigation, they determined the school was safe for students.

The Issaquah School District said they delayed school out of an 'abundance of caution,' and that the safety of their students and staff is their top priority.

The school district said a middle school student is believed to be responsible. They say the student has been contacted and is in custody.
