Nearly 4,000 lose power in Seattle's Columbia City neighborhood

SEATTLE — Nearly 4,000 customers were without power in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle early Thursday.

Customers lost power about 2:15 a.m.

Seattle City Light says 3,957 customers were affected by the outage caused by an equipment failure.

Power was expected to be restored about 7:40 a.m., but there were still several hundred customers with issues at that time.
