New Sasquatch video claims sighting in Canada

Bigfoot is back in the news again, this time with a questioned sighting in British Columbia.

Two videos were posted to YouTube earlier this week after a Canadian app company requested videos of Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster and another Canadian legend. The app tracks legends such as the Loch Ness monster.

A video posted to YouTube earlier this month shows a questionable figure walking several hundred yards away from the camera.

Bigfoot sightings are common in the Pacific Northwest – and they're almost always bogus. The first recorded sighting was in 1810, according to HistoryLink.org.

Maybe the most popular suspected sighting was one filmed in California in 1967. In 2004, a buddy of Roger Patterson admitted that he posed as Sasquatch in that 1967 film. Two years earlier, the family of Ray Wallace admitted that in 1958 he made the giant footprints that sparked the Sasquatch craze in the late 1950s, according to HistoryLink.org.
