SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — Snohomish County sheriff's deputies are investigating after a report of gunshots Saturday night near Lynnwood.
Officials said deputies were called to the 3700 block of 164th Street Southwest.
When deputies arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds, officials said.
Neighbor Leslie Sigmon described seeing someone run away following the sound of gunfire and then said she saw an injured person crawling outside of an apartment to a hiding spot.
"Saw some guy run out of apartment, got in a car and the car slowly drove away," said Sigmon. "And then 30 seconds later, we saw a guy crawling outside of his apartment and crawled and hid behind a bush."
The man was taken to the hospital. As of Sunday morning, the man is in serious condition.
Deputies did not say if a suspect was taken into custody.
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating, deputies said.
