Deputies search for suspects after armed burglary in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are searching for suspects in a recent armed burglary attempt in Lynnwood.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the armed burglary at a residence in the 3200 block of 203rd Street SW just after 4 a.m. on Sunday.

Officials said three suspects broke into the residence through the front door and identified themselves as police.

The suspects are described as young white males and wore black ski masks during the armed burglary, deputies said.

Deputies said the suspects told a 56-year-old woman to remain where she was and pepper sprayed two other victims, a 22-year-old male and a 23-year-old female, inside the residence.

“(A) 22-year-old male was held at gunpoint while the suspects demanded access to his safe. The suspects stole cash, jewelry, a cellphone, a wallet and a gun from the victims,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

A K-9 team responded to the scene but was unable to located the suspects.

Detectives said they believe the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle.
