GRANITE FALLS, Wash. — After purchasing a Powerball ticket on Nov. 6, a Granite Falls man placed it on his car dashboard and forgot about it.

A month later, while cleaning his car and tossing out the “junk,” he decided to check the ticket and found out he had won $2 million.

According to the Washington Lottery, the man was so excited that he shared the news with his father before claiming his prize at the Lottery’s Everett office.

The man plans to invest his winnings in a couple of rental properties.
