EVERETT, Wash. — A man was arrested in Everett after a man arrived at court driving a stolen truck, according to the Everett Police Department.

According to police, the man was already wanted for violating a no-contact order.

Officers noticed the Ford F350 the man arrived in had exempt government plates on it and decided to investigate further.

Once they ran the plates, they discovered the plates did not belong to the F350.

Officers then ran the vehicle’s identification number, and the truck was recorded as stolen too.

Officers contacted the man inside the courthouse and he denied having arrived in the stolen F350.

However, officers found a key on him that would start the F350.

They also had courthouse video of the man arriving, parking and exiting the truck, plus his license was found on the front seat of the truck.

The man was booked for the violation of the no-contact order and possession of a stolen vehicle.
