A car struck a power pole in Everett on Monday, resulting in a power outage for nearly 600 people.
According to Everett police, the incident occurred on 19th Avenue Southeast, between 121st Street Southeast and 126th Street Southeast.
A silver sedan appears to have struck the pole head-on, causing the pole to break and lean toward the street.

According to the Everett Fire Department, nearly 600 customers were without power around 2 p.m.
According to the Snohomish County Public Utility District, crews are expected to restore power by 4:30 p.m.
