ARLINGTON, Wash. — Two people were taken to the hospital and a third had minor injuries from a house fire near Arlington early Wednesday.
Fire District 21 said crews were called to the home in the 11900 block of 103rd Avenue Northeast at about 1:30 a.m.
When they arrived, the house was engulfed in flames. Fire crews from surrounding areas helped fight the fire and additional water tenders were called in.
The house is a total loss and vehicles were damaged as well.
The family is looking for their dog and cat, which are missing.
Fire crews remain at the scene hours later to ensure hot spots are put out.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office.
