A Washington State Patrol trooper’s patrol SUV was struck by a car while it was parked on the shoulder of Interstate 5 in Everett.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on northbound I-5 near 128th Street Thursday.
The trooper had made a traffic stop when another vehicle struck the rear right corner of the SUV.
He was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
