SNOHOMISH, Wash. — Two people were killed in a head-on crash on Highway 2 about four miles east of Snohomish.
The crash at Three Lakes Road shortly after 10 p.m. Monday closed the road for hours.
A report from the Washington State Patrol said a Nissan pickup was heading westbound, and a Dodge minivan and a Ford F150 truck were traveling eastbound, when the Nissan crossed the centerline and hit the Dodge head-on.
The Ford then crossed the centerline and hit the right rear of the minivan.
The drivers of the Nissan and the Dodge died at the scene.
There were five people in the Ford who were not hurt.
The road was closed for several hours during the investigation. It has since reopened.
