Seattle City Council member Tanya Woo was appointed in January to fill the empty citywide Position 8 seat, which meant a Special Election for the city council. Now, she is hoping to keep her place but is facing three candidates.
After polls closed Tuesday night, Alexis Mercedes Rinck held a lead over incumbent Tanya Woo.
Rinck released a statement Tuesday night saying she won the Primary.
It did not appear Tanya Woo had released a statement by 12:24 a.m. Wednesday morning.
