Four people were displaced Friday night after a fire destroyed their Poulsbo home, fire officials said.
POULSBO, Wash. — Crews responded to a report of a two-story house fire at 22125 Sunridge Way Northeast at about 7:30 p.m.
According to fire officials, a neighbor called 911 when he saw the fire from his back porch.
When firefighters arrived, the home was well-involved and crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes.
No one was home during the time of the fire.
Fire officials said the occupants left the house at about 5:15 p.m. and returned after 8 p.m. to find crews at work. The Red Cross is now assisting the family.
No injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the fire has not been determined but fire officials believe it was accidental.
