SEATTLE — A 1-year-old rehabilitated seal was released today into Puget Sound.
Officials with the U.S. Coast Guard, in collaboration with PAWS, took the seal pup back to her home at sea.
"It took her a few minutes to jump in, but this pup is back where she belongs!" wrote USCG officials over Twitter.
The seal pup was found near death in December 2015.
