LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Shots were fired outside a Casino in Lakewood early Wednesday and a victim later arrived at the hospital.
Police were called to the parking lot outside the Macau Casino at 9811 South Tacoma Way shortly before 1 a.m. for a report of two gunshots fired.
Witnesses said a man was seen running from the parking lot.
When officers arrived, there was no victim at the scene, but a gunshot victim arrived at St. Clare Hospital a short time later. He was later transported to St. Joe’s Hospital for further treatment.
Police said there is no known motive and it is not known how, or if, the suspect and victim knew each other prior to the shooting, but there had been a short physical altercation between the two men before the shooting.
Detectives are continuing the investigation.
