ALGONA, Wash. — A baby who couldn't wait to get to the hospital sent a woman into labor along the freeway in Algona Thursday morning.
The Washington State Patrol said troopers and King County deputies helped with the birth along northbound SR 167.
Valley Regional Fire took the baby and mother to the hospital.
The emergency that occurred just south of Ellingston Road caused traffic to back up, but the scene has since been cleared. There were still long delays as of 6:30 a.m.
