Hearing big booms near JBLM?

JBLM, Wash. — Those who live around Joint Base Lewis-McChord are used to hearing some noise in the area, but residents may be wondering what’s the source of some big booms.

According to the Olympian, JBLM’s 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment is training with 155 mm Howitzer field artillery.

The two-day training will run day and night until midnight Thursday.
