YELM, Wash. — A large amount of explosives was found in Yelm on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The explosives were found at a residence in the 20000 block of Neat Road Southeast around 2:30 p.m.
Citizens in the area may see a large response from local, state and federal agencies.
As items are rendered safe, explosions may be heard.
The sheriff’s office warns people to avoid the area.
