On Sept. 5 at about 8 p.m., Rearden went to a Chevron in the Nisqually Valley to meet with a potential buyer from Lynnwood.
Reardon never returned.
The sheriff's office tweeted Friday morning that Reardon had been found, but did not say where.
The Olympian says Rearden was convicted of burglary with sexual motivation and assault in 2003. In 2014, he was convicted of failing to register as a sex offender.
Police did not mention the man was a sex offender in their missing person bulletin.
