A woman was killed in a collision with a vehicle Thursday evening in Tacoma, according to police.
The crash happened at approximately 5:01 p.m. in the 7200 block of South G Street.
Police reported that the driver in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
As a result of the crash, 72nd Street was closed between Park Avenue South and Tacoma Avenue South while authorities investigated.
