A woman was injured after a shooting at a Lakewood motel on Friday night, police said.
Police received a call at 7:40 p.m. about a shooting at the Best Value Inn at 4215 Sharondale Street Southwest.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. She was rushed to Madigan Hospital and her condition is unknown.
Police said the suspected shooter is her husband. Their current marital status is unknown.
Investigators said the two had been staying at the motel and witnesses said the two were arguing.
After the shooting, the suspected shooter ran away from the scene.
Police remain at the scene and will continue their investigation.
