CHEHALIS, Wash. — An ATM outside a Chehalis credit union was stolen in the early hours of Monday.
Investigators say thieves used a forklift to load the Washington State Employees Credit Union ATM into a box truck.
Police believe the forklift was stolen from a nearby construction site.
The credit union said the ATM does not store credit or debit card numbers and all transactions from over the weekend should have posted to members’ accounts normally.
The credit union said it is working with police and the machine vendor to track down the thieves.
