SEATAC, Wash. — A major repair project could slow down drivers heading to Sea-Tac Airport.
Between Tuesday and the end of July there will be overnight lane closures along a three-quarter-mile stretch of State Route 518 between Interstate 5 and Highway 99.
Workers will replace cracked concrete panels during the closure.
The DOT said the cracks spreading across the roadway are a sign the pavement is failing.
Detour routes will be set up, but drivers should allow an extra 10-15 minutes to reach the airport.
