SEATTLE — Boeing and All Nippon Airways have rolled out a ‘Star Wars’ themed plane—featuring the likeness of R2-D2.
The new 787-9 Dreamliner rolled out of an Everett paint hangar for the first time -- on Saturday morning.
Boeing says it’s the first time a ‘Star Wars’ character has appeared on the exterior of a commercial aircraft.
The plane is set to begin flying on October 18.
