Thurston County approves emergency jail repairs

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Thurston County just approved emergency repairs after the county jail's camera and lock systems started crashing several times a week.

When the system goes down guards have to use hand held keys.

The Olympian reports the fix will cost $70,000.
