KENTWOOD, Mich. — High school senior Tyra Hunt chose to pay tribute to her younger self when it came time for ID card photos at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan.

BuzzFeed reported Hunt, 17, got creative and, sent a tweet out of her craftiness on Tuesday that has since gone viral with over 94,000 retweets.

"We are allowed to do funny ID pictures because they put our senior pictures in the yearbook," Hunt told WOOD. "I didn't know what to do because we are not allowed to use props, like hold anything, so I was like, what should I do?"

Hunt used her kindergarten yearbook picture as inspiration, buying a neon yellow hoodie and ironing on the letters "USA" to match the look of her younger self, neon green bubble hair ties and all.

"I found a green sweatshirt and then we ironed on USA to it and we were like, ‘This is going to be perfect.'"

"My friend told me to post it on Twitter and I had no idea it was going to blow up. I literally had no idea. I was like, 'I guess we’ll try,'" Hunt told WOOD. "Then within like two hours, I had 300 retweets. It was crazy. Overnight, like 50,000 favorites."

"It was very fun for me to put on little marbles in my hair and a green hoodie again," Hunt told Teen Vogue. "It brought back a lot of memories."

Hunt told WOOD that the original photo is a family joke and her mother was impressed with her ability to recreate the image.

"My mom was surprised that I could get the face and the hair positioning perfectly," she said.

Hunt told Teen Vogue she's "just looking forward to being a senior and making the most out of this year."

At least 94,000 people already think she has.
