When it comes to Halloween treats, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups blow the competition away, according to a new poll from Monmouth University.
Reese's topped the list of the best-selling candy, outpacing its closest competitor, Snickers, 36% to 18%, respectively.
M&M's rounded out the top three with 11% of the vote.
The poll, which included responses from 1,161 people in late September, found the other candies on the list scored significantly lower.
A new Monmouth University poll surveyed adults about 8 popular Halloween candies.

"We don't know if it's one of the top-eaten candies, but it does have a fan base. And candy corn makes great fake teeth to creep out your parents with," Murray said.
Skittles received 5% of the vote and Starburst came in at 4%.
And Tootsie pops rounded out the top-selling Halloween candy with 2% of the vote.
