According to WDVM-TV, Adkins visited the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, where he spoke with veterans and even wished one a happy 106th birthday.
"Known for his patriotic songs and non-profit work with Veterans organizations, Mr. Adkins spent time with our Veterans in the Domiciliary and Community Living Center and signed a birthday card for Mr. Clark, who just turned 106," the center captioned a now-viral Facebook post that featured several photos from the event.
