MONROE, La. — One person was killed and four others were injured early Saturday after a shooting at a Louisiana nightspot, authorities said.
According to the Monroe Police Department, shots were fired at the Sippers Bar at about 2 a.m. CDT, KNOE-TV reported.
Two of the victims are in critical condition and the other two sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to KTVE-TV.
Officers encountered the victims in the parking lot of the club, KNOE reported.
The name of the person killed has not been released. Detectives said an investigation is ongoing, KTVE reported.
