Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the men caused “mass panic” when they jumped from the rooftop bar of the Grand Hyatt Hotel at about 6:50 p.m. CT, WZTV reported.

Downtown resident Amanda Bagley was at the bar when the two men approached the railing and jumped, throwing out parachutes behind them and landing in a parking lot next to the hotel, the television station reported.

“Last night was really my first night going out,” Bagley told WZTV. “It was a lot of trying to process what I’d seen after the bomb exploded.”

Officers arriving at the scene were told by hotel security officials that the men were possibly guests at the Grand Hyatt, WKRN reported.

Bagley reportedly recorded the men approaching the ledge of the roof before they jumped over it, the television station reported.

“It caused mass panic and patrons for the bar began screaming,” a police report stated.

After the men landed, they entered a vehicle and drove away.

Hotel officials told WZTV that the men were guests at the hotel and were evicted and banned.

“We vehemently condemn this kind of reckless behavior,” officials told the television station.

The two men remain at large, WTVF reported.
