NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country music’s biggest stars descended upon the Nashville Municipal Auditorium for the 2022 CMT Music Awards on Monday night, honoring the best in country music videos.
The festivities encountered a little hiccup earlier in the day when co-host Kelsea Ballerini tested positive for COVID-19, so she emceed remotely, while Kane Brown handled the in-person responsibilities, Billboard reported.
Brown led the nominations with four, followed closely by Ballerini, Mickey Guyton, BRELAND and Cody Johnson, People magazine reported.
Meanwhile, mother-daughter power duo The Judds took the stage for their first nationally televised awards show performance in more than two decades.
