The Spartanburg County Coroner’s office was called to a home about possible remains found, WYFF reported.

When a member of the office responded, they said they saw what appeared to be the remains of a human fetus in the wall.

The home was being remodeled when the remains were found, WSPA reported.

The bones have been given to a forensic anthropologist, and it is expected to take several months to get test results back, the station reported.

But coroner Rusty Clevenger said the remains appear to have been concealed for a long time, according to WYFF.
