“Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been postponed,” the singer wrote.

An investigation into Price’s death is still ongoing, Chris Daughtry wrote on his website. Authorities have not released any information about Price’s death, or the circumstances that led up to it.

Chris Daughtry and his band were scheduled to appear in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Friday, People reported. According to the singer’s website, his latest tour began Nov. 3 with a stop in Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

According to his website, Chris Daughtry has canceled the next five stops of his tour. That includes Saturday’s stop in Silver Spring, Maryland; Sunday in Uncasville, Connecticut; Tuesday in Montclair, New Jersey; Wednesday in Huntington, New York; and Friday in Indianapolis.

The band’s Nov. 20 date in Pittsburgh remains on the schedule.

“The Dearly Beloved” is the band’s sixth studio album, People reported. It was released on Sept. 17, along with the single, “Lioness.”

Chris Daughtry finished finishing fourth behind winner Taylor Hicks and runners-up Katherine McPhee and Elliott Yamin during the 2006 season of “American Idol.”

Deanna Daughtry remembered her daughter in an Instagram post of her own on Saturday.

“My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah. Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah,” Deanna Daughtry wrote. “We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken.”
