Actor-comedian Andy Dick is accused of sexual battery after an incident at a California campground on Wednesday, authorities said.
Dick, 56, was arrested on suspicion of felony sexual battery, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department online booking records.
Authorities responded at about 9 a.m. PDT Wednesday to a campground in O’Neill Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon after a man alleged he was sexually assaulted, Orange County Sheriff Sgt. Scott Steinle told KTLA-TV.
After an investigation, Dick was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail, KNBC-TV reported.

Details surrounding the arrest and alleged assault were not immediately disclosed by authorities, KABC-TV reported.
Dick’s arrest was first reported by TMZ.
In November 2021, Dick was arrested in the Los Angeles area on a felony domestic violence charge for allegedly hitting his boyfriend on the head with a liquor bottle, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Dick was also arrested in late June 2021 on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon after a man claimed the comedian hit him with a metal chair, the newspaper reported.
In 2018, the comedian was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of simple battery, stemming from an incident where a woman filed a report claiming Dick touched her inappropriately and made lewd comments as he walked past her on a sidewalk, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Dick’s bail for Wednesday’s arrest was set at $25,000, online records show. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
